Privacy Policy Addendum: PayPal Single Sign-On (SSO)

This addendum to the Food Strecher Plus Privacy Policy explains the specific data handling practices when you choose to log in to our application using your PayPal account.

  1. What is PayPal SSO?
    PayPal SSO is an authentication service provided by PayPal,Inc. that allows you to log in to Food Strecher Plus using your existing PayPal credentials, eliminating the need to create a separate username and password for our service.
  2. Information We Receive Through PayPal SSO
    When you choose to log in with PayPal,you will be directed to PayPal’s website and asked to authorize Food Strecher Plus to receive certain information from your PayPal profile. The information we receive is strictly limited to what is necessary to create and manage your account and is determined by PayPal’s authentication process.

This typically includes:

· Personal Identifiers: Your PayPal-assigned user ID, name, and email address.
· Account Information: Your country and locale.

We do not receive, store, or have access to your PayPal password or any of your sensitive financial information, such as your bank account details, credit/debit card numbers, or transaction history.

  1. How We Use This Information
    The information received from PayPal is used for the following purposes:

· To create and manage your unique user account on Food Strecher Plus.
· To authenticate your identity when you log in.
· To communicate with you regarding your account (e.g., sending receipts, important service updates).
· To personalize your experience within the app.

  1. Data Storage and Protection
    The personal data received from PayPal(your name, email, and PayPal user ID) is stored securely on our servers and is protected by the same security measures outlined in our main Privacy Policy. This data is treated as an integral part of your Food Strecher Plus account information.
  2. Your Choices and Control

· Linking Accounts: You can choose to link your PayPal account during the initial sign-up or at a later time in your account settings.
· Unlinking Accounts: You can unlink your PayPal account from your Food Strecher Plus profile at any time through your account settings. This will disable the SSO login option, and you will need to set a password for Food Strecher Plus to continue accessing your account.
· You can also manage the permissions you have granted to Food Strecher Plus directly from your PayPal account settings.
